District 58 to host kindergarten roundups for incoming parents
Parents of incoming District 58 kindergartners will have the opportunity to visit their school, meet the principal and staff, and get their questions answered during the upcoming annual Kindergarten Roundups in March and April. The Roundup is one of two meetings held prior to the first day of school to help prepare children for kindergarten. (Click here)

Notification procedures in case of school closure due to inclement weather

District 58 students show strong performance on ISATs..
District 58 students have continued their consistently strong performance on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test, with more than 92 percent meeting or exceeding standards on the test administered this past spring, according to results recently released by the state. Mission Statement The mission of District 58, in partnership with parents and community, is to challenge each child by providing quality educational programs and support services in safe, nurturing environments in order to prepare all students to be lifelong learners and contributing members of society.

The community of Downers Grove, Illinois, with a population of approximately 48,900, is in the southeastern portion of DuPage County, about 25 miles west of Chicago. District 58 serves students in grades K-8 living in Downers Grove and portions of Oak Brook, Westmont, Woodridge, and Darien.
